Our first stop for the day, seen in the distance, was the Sagrada Familia Basilica, the largest unfinished Catholic church in the world, designed by Antoni Gaudí and begun in 1882. Barcelona has 9 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and we would see 4 of them on this trip, the Sagrada Familia being the first.
