On our way to the next stop the crew held a crossing the equator ceremony for all the crew members who had not crossed the equator before, referred to as “Pollywogs”. All the “Pollywogs” have to endure some kind of humiliation from the “Shellbacks” who have crossed before. The guy with the mic is the captain.
