The 700 year old Église Saint-Côme-et-Saint-Damien church in Normandy, France. During the D-Day landings in World War II, two American medics from the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, Robert Wright and Kenneth Moore, set up an aid station inside the church and treated both Allied and German soldiers.
