Next day, back in London, doing a little walkabout and came across this, the Jewel Tower, a surviving 14th-century element of the Palace of Westminster in London. It was built between 1365 and 1366 to house the personal treasure of King Edward III and is a rare survivor of the medieval Palace of Westminster, which was mostly destroyed by fire in 1834.
