Made a trip to the Neapolis Archaeological Park in Syracuse, Sicily. Here we’re heading into the famous limestone cave the Ear of Dionysius. The cave is renowned for its unusual acoustics and distinctive S-shape, which resembles a giant human ear. Legend suggests the tyrant Dionysius I used the cave as a prison and could eavesdrop on his prisoners’ conversations from a specific point due to the strong echo.
