One morning we went over to a church called Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels and of the Martyrs that was near our hotel at the suggestion of one of the subject matter experts on our tour. It’s a really odd looking church from the outside as it’s inside the structure of what originally was a Roman bath house from about 300 AD. But inside it’s pretty amazing. The original design was by Michelangelo.
